Tips/advice:
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Please remember to practice some common sense and simple tips to prevent you from being the victim of a crime of opportunity. Always lock your vehicles and residence. Do NOT leave valuables outside of your residence or in plain sight inside of your vehicle. Please do NOT store firearms in your vehicle.
Winter weather is here. Please be extra cautious driving in inclement weather and remember to slow down, especially on brick roads and roadways on hills. Four wheel and all wheel drive vehicles are great but do not mean four wheel or all wheel stop. Please slow down and plan to leave earlier to get to your destination safely. Please be extremely cautious while driving through neighborhoods and during bus stop pick up and drop off hours.
Please report any suspicious people or activity immediately by calling 911 instead of calling hours or days later to file a report.
If you are interested in being a crime watch coordinator please contact the police department. We still need 2 coordinators.
LOCK YOUR VEHICLES...LOCK YOUR VEHICLES...LOCK YOUR VEHICLES.
