Crafton Community Center - Community Room

The Crafton Community Center was opened in the Spring of 1995, and is located at 140 Bradford Avenue, adjacent to the Crafton Municipal Building. The Crafton Community Center is home to the Crafton Public Library, Crafton Historical Society Archives, Crafton Community Room and the Edward A. Witt Council Chambers. The Community Room is available for use by the various Youth Organizations, Senior Citizen programs and for public rental. For more information, contact the Borough’s Administration Office. Crafton Park Shelters

Crafton Park is located on West Steuben Street in Crafton. The 10.73 acre park features a public swimming pool, playground, three shelters which are available for rental, picnic tables, community farm, ball fields, bocci ball court and amphitheater. All three shelters are equipped with charcoal grills and electric and are available to rent for your next private event. The Hoffman shelter can accommodate approx. 120+ people. The two smaller shelters, Broglie and Bogus can accommodate approx. 45 people. Rates vary and are as noted on the application.

  • No Alcoholic Beverages

  • No Glass Containers

  • No Bicycle Riding

  • No golfing

  • No climbing or defacing of trees or defacing of fences or buildings

You are responsible for shelter cleanup and removal of trash to the dumpsters. Parking is not permitted at the shelters. Only temporary drop-off of items and/or handicapped persons. Parking is not permitted in between closed gates along Afton Avenue. Violators will be tagged. Afton Avenue gates must be kept closed at all times. Park closes at dusk fines of $20.00 TO $300.00.
