Tips/advice:

Please use alternate pick-up/delivery methods if you are not going to be home and are expecting a delivery.

Hyundai and Kia vehicles still seem to be the main target of car thieves. If you own one of these vehicles it is strongly recommended to use a secondary protection device such as a steering wheel lock (ie. The Club). Crafton and several other communities nearby are continuing to see a rash of thefts from vehicles. The thieves typically target vehicles that were left unlocked.

The Crafton Police Department would like to remind everyone this holiday season to stay safe and do NOT drive after drinking. It’s not worth the risk of hurting yourself or someone else. A DUI is very costly.

If anyone is interested in becoming a Crime Watch Coordinator please contact the police department.
