Trash & Recycling Collection

Waste Management is under contract to the Crafton Borough to collect refuse and recyclables for all residential properties with up to eight units. Please read the information below regarding materials that will or will not be collected.

Refuse in Crafton Borough is collected every Tuesday. The collection schedule will be delayed one day if collection day falls on or after the New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day holidays. If any of these holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday there will be no change in the collection schedule. For more information, please contact 1-800-866-4460.

There are some businesses and larger residential communities within Crafton Borough who have other contracts with waste management companies that differ on pickup days and communal recycling containers. Check with your Property Management. Borough ordinances require all residents to recycle.

For individual home owners, refuse and recycling containers can be placed at curbside after 4:00 p.m. on the day prior to collection and no later than 6:00 a.m. on the day of collection.
