CRIME WATCH REPORT FOR AUGUST 2024

Area 1- Coordinator (Vacant)

Area 3– Coordinator- (Vacant)

8-04-24. An unlocked vehicle on Dinsmore Ave. was entered however nothing was stolen.

8-05-24. A vehicle on E. Crafton Ave. was vandalized overnight.

Area 4- Coordinator- Amy Buchman

8-18-24. A couple of packages were reported to have been stolen from a porch on S. Linwood Ave. The thefts occurred last week.

8-26-24. A black Kia sedan (Forte or Optima) struck a parked vehicle which was pushed into another parked vehicle on N. Emily St. near N. Linwood Ave.

Area 5- Coordinator- Mary Fleming

Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.

8-22-24. An unknown person threw a rock into a window breaking it in the 600 block of Broadhead Rd.

Tips/advice:

Remember that school is back in session and that you MUST STOP for school buses when they have their red lights and stop signs activated. If you are in doubt if you need to stop just STOP and play it safe. This is obviously for the safety of our children. The fines and license suspension that come with passing a school bus are very costly. Please remember to also slow down to 15 miles per hour on Crafton Blvd. and a portion of Noble Ave. at the times posted on the signs in those areas.

PLEASE REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY IMMEDIATELY BY CALLING 911.
