Crime Watch Report - September 2024

CRIME WATCH REPORT FOR SEPTEMBER 2024

Area 1- Coordinator- (Vacant)

9-29-24. A vehicle parked on S. Linwood Ave. behind Woodlawn Ave. and Promenade St. was struck by a black BMW SUV with chrome trim causing damage to the mirror.

9-16-24. A report was taken for items damaged in a yard and thrown over a hillside on Rodgers Ave.

Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.

9-14-24. A parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle near the Giant Eagle.

9-17-24. A piece of construction equipment was stolen from the rear of a property in the 200 block of W. Steuben St.

9-21-24. A resident from Duncan Ave. reported that her phone was stolen from her unlocked vehicle two days prior.

9-24-24. An unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of W. Steuben St. was entered and a debit card was stolen from it.

Tips/advice:

Please remember to ALWAYS lock your vehicle(s) and your homes. Store bicycles and other toys inside so that they are not lying around and an easy target for thieves. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle either.

Curfew hours (juveniles 17 and under) are 11PM-6AM Sunday-Thursday nights and 12:01AM-6AM on Saturday

Please dial 911 immediately if you need police assistance. Do NOT wait to call until later or the following day if you observe something or someone suspicious.
