CRIME WATCH REPORT FOR OCTOBER 2019:

Area 1- Coordinator- Katie Fazio

10-5-19. A theft of a jewelry box and money from an apartment on E. Crafton Ave. was reported. The actual date of the was believed to have been approximately 1 month earlier.

Area 3– Coordinator- Diane McQuaide
10-10-19. An unlocked vehicle was rummaged through overnight however no items were stolen.

Area 4- Coordinator- Amy Buchman (acting)
10-19-19. A Warren St. resident received a phone call from "Apple Support" requesting her to update her payment information. This is a SCAM phone call

Area 5- Coordinator- Mary Fleming

Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.
10-16-19. A business in the shopping center has a tip jar stolen from their counter by a black male approximately 18 years old wearing a blue shirt.
10-22-19. It was reported on this date that tools were stolen from an apartment that is being renovated in the 100 block of W. Steuben St. Access was believed to have been made through an unlocked window. The apartment was vacant when the burglary occurred on 10-20-2019 at approximately 1:30 AM.
10-30-19. A bicycle was reported to have been stolen from a porch on Afton Ave. sometime after Sunday.
10-30-19. The Walgreens Store was robbed by a black male. He is believed to be the same male that robbed the Ingram Rite Aid and two other pharmacies in the city of Pittsburgh recently. Crime Watch Alert was sent out.

Tips/advice:
Don't forget to set your clocks back an hour Sunday 11-03-2019 at 2AM. This is also a good time to test and/or replace batteries in your smoke detectors, CO2 Detectors and other alarms/warning notification systems.

Wet leaves make slippery road surfaces. Please use caution.

Please remember the juvenile curfew hours. Monday-Thursday curfew is at 11:00 PM. Friday-Saturday the curfew is at midnight. This is for our resident under the age of 18. This is to keep everyone safe.
Do NOT give out personal information over the telephone.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO LOCK YOUR VEHCLES AND YOUR RESIDENCE (DOORS AND WINDOWS).
