Crime Watch Alert: October 22, 2019

The Crafton Police Department took a burglary report on today's date that occurred on Sunday (October 20, 2019) at approximately 1:30 AM. It is believed that a white male operating a larger black SUV drove into the apartment complex in the 100 block of W. Steuben St. and covered up the license plate of the vehicle. The suspect is observed walking towards the apartment building and then goes off camera after approaching the burglarized apartment. The male is then observed leaving the apartment through the front door of the apartment and exiting the building through the rear door to the rear parking lot. It is believed that the suspect may have possibly came in to view the apartment over the weekend and unlocked a window after observing tools in the apartment. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Crafton Police Department.

The investigation is ongoing as more information has been requested to include surveillance camera footage.
