CRIME WATCH REPORT FOR FEBRUARY 2025
Area 1- Coordinator(Vacant)
Area 2 – Coordinator-Sandy Gibson
Area 3– Coordinator- (Vacant)
2-25-25. An unsecured piece of equipment was stolen from the rear of a property in the 100 block of Noble Ave.
2-26-25. A Hyundai sedan on Dinsmore Ave. had the window smashed out. Nothing was reported stolen. Three other vehicles in the area were reported to have been left unlocked however nothing was stolen.
2-26-25. Another unlocked Hyundai sedan on Dinsmore Ave. was entered and the steering column was severely damaged.
Area 4- Coordinator- Amy Buchman
2-01-25. A parked and unoccupied vehicle on Harrison St. was either struck by a passing vehicle or keyed by an unknown person.
Area 5- Coordinator- Mary Fleming
2-26-25. A Hyundai sedan on Sterrett St. had the windows smashed out and was reported to be stolen. This vehicle was recovered on Stratmore St. in Ingram a short time later. The steering column was severely damaged.
Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.
2-02-25. Items were stolen from the women’s locker room at Planet Fitness.
2-19-25. A business on Crennell Ave. was vandalized with broken windows on the business and a vehicle.
Tips/advice:
The weather is changing for the better. Please be mindful that more children will be taking to the streets to play outside. Please use caution while driving through the neighborhood streets and especially near the school during school hours.
The Crafton Police Department can not stress it enough to lock your vehicles all of the time and to not leave valuable items inside your vehicle, especially in plain view.
