CRIME WATCH REPORT FOR JULY 2024:
Area 1- Coordinator (Vacant)
7-19-24. Two males were observed looking into vehicles on Woodlawn Ave.
7-19-24. A vehicle on Kingston Ave. had a window broken out and items stolen from it.
Area 2 – Coordinator-Sandy Gibson
7-06-24. A spare tire was stolen from a vehicle on Josephine St. and other items were removed from the trunk.
Area 3– Coordinator- (Vacant)
7-21-24. An unlocked vehicle on Creighton Ave. was entered and items were stolen.
Area 4- Coordinator- Amy Buchman
7-23-24. Two males were attempting to open vehicles on N. Emily St.
7-23-24. A burglary was reported at an apartment complex on Warren St. No doors or windows were forced open and electronics were stolen from the apartment while the tenants were vacationing.
7-24-24. A rock was thrown through a rear window of a house on Coulter Ave.
Area 5- Coordinator- Mary Fleming
7-18-24. A vehicle was reported to have been stolen in the 200 block of Clearview Ave.
7-19-24. An unlocked vehicle on Sterrett St. with the keys inside of it was stolen.
7-25-24. A necklace was stolen from a vehicle on Mueller Ave.
Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.
7-05-24. Damage to a vehicle parked in the Post Office lot was reported to have occurred the previous day.
Tips/advice:
Please call 911 immediately if you observe possible criminal or suspicious activity. There is not always someone in the station that can answer the phone. Call 911 to make these reports so that an officer who is already on the road patrolling can be in the area within minutes.
PLEASE REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY IMMEDIATELY BY CALLING 911.
