Tips/advice:
Warmer weather is approaching and that means more children outside playing. Please be extra cautious while driving through the neighborhood on the nicer days when more children are outside playing. Also remember to bring outside toys such as bikes and scooters inside each night to prevent them from being easily stolen.
Please remember to report any suspicious activity, people or vehicles immediately by calling 911. Also do NOT provide any information to people over the phone that call you. This is a good reminder for those residents that have elderly family members and friends as they are far too often the targets and victims of these types of schemes. The same advice goes for emails and text-based communications. Do NOT provide any information to anyone that you are not 100% of who they are. If in doubt, end the conversation and contact the Crafton Police Department. An officer will assist you in looking into the matter and provide you with guidance.
LOCK YOUR VEHICLES...LOCK YOUR VEHICLES...LOCK YOUR VEHICLES.
