CRIME WATCH ALERT: APRIL 15, 2022

On 4-14-2022 a N. Grandview Ave. resident reported that she had packages stolen off of her porch. The packages were delivered earlier in the day and a neighbor observed packages on the porch. When the resident arrived home the packages had already been stolen. If any resident in the area of N. Grandview Ave. and Taylor St. have surveillance cameras please check them for a suspect carrying away two packages that were delivered by FedEx.

If you know that you are receiving a package and that you will not be home when the package arrives it is a good idea to think about alternative delivery methods. Such options would be to have a neighbor retrieve your package, have it delivered to a neighbor or your place of employment, place package at the rear of the house and out of sight from street level or request a signature. Delivery services may offer other delivery options as well. These are some simple steps that you can take to avoid the frustration of having packages stolen.
