Area 1- Coordinator- Katie Fazio

1-14-21. A report was taken of a tall, skinny male looking into vehicle windows on Oregon Ave. He was described as wearing jogger style pants, a black jacket over a gray hoodie, a black mask and black shoes with white stripes.

1-21-21. A black male wearing dark clothing approached a residence in the 1700 block of Barr Ave. to “update their ADT Security system.” This male was identified by a lanyard and a badge as “Dominic.” ADT advised that they do not have anyone working in the area. The male was refused entry into the residence and left the area.
Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.
1-19-21. A computer bag containing a check book was stolen from a vehicle parked on Duncan Ave. over the weekend.
1-21-21. A resident from the Crafton Towers received a scam phone call stating that her grandson was in jail after an accident in New Jersey. The resident did not provide any information to the caller.

Happy New Year!!! Let's make 2021 the safest year for Crafton residents and visitors. Please report any suspicious activity and people immediately by dialing 911. Remember to take preventative measures when having packages delivered and to lock your vehicles and homes. If you have any questions or concerns on how to make your home less appealing to would-be thieves, contact the police department directly at 412-921-2016. Do NOT keep valuables in your vehicle either.
