Tips/advice:

Good riddance 2020 and welcome 2021. Happy New Year!! Let’s make 2021 the safest year yet.
There are several phone call scams going around right now to include the ever popular social security scam. In several of the calls, the caller advises the resident that there is some type of criminal action or fraud against their social security number. Other times there is an actual person “caller” who demands this information. NEVER, ever provide your information to someone over the phone. The Social Security Administration does not conduct business over the phone. If they are looking to contact you, they will send you a certified letter.

Do NOT leave your car unattended with the keys inside of it to warm up. Please remain with your vehicle or use a remote starter. We have taken stolen vehicle reports over the past month during both the early morning hours and daylight hours of people who left their vehicles running and unsecured.

Our town and neighboring communities are still be targeted by thieves in the overnight hours targeting UNLOCKED vehicles. LOCK your vehicle every time. Do NOT leave anything of value in your vehicle. Call immediately if you see someone or something suspicious around a vehicle, especially during the overnight hours.

LOCK YOUR VEHICLES...LOCK YOUR VEHICLES...LOCK YOUR VEHICLES.
LOCK YOUR VEHICLES...LOCK YOUR VEHICLES...LOCK YOUR VEHICLES.
LOCK YOUR VEHICLES...LOCK YOUR VEHICLES...LOCK YOUR VEHICLES.
