CRIME WATCH REPORT: NOVEMBER 2021

Area 1- Coordinator- Katie Fazio

Area 2 – Coordinator-Sandy Gibson
11-05-21. An unlocked vehicle on E. Crafton Ave. was rummaged through overnight and a 4 shot pepper spray gun was stolen.

Area 3– Coordinator- Diane McQuaide
11-05-21. An unlocked/unsecured vehicle on McMunn Ave. was rummaged through overnight. Nothing was reported stolen.
11-11-21. A vehicle on Haldane St. was rummaged through and items were stolen overnight.

Area 4- Coordinator- Amy Buchman (acting)

Area 5- Coordinator- Mary Fleming
11-05-21. A suspicious male was caught on surveillance video on a porch on Lawson Ave. at approximately 4AM. Male was possibly a light-skinned black male or white male wearing a gray hoodie, jeans, boots and a black back pack. At approximately 6:45AM a white Mitsubishi Outlander arrived in the area and blocked the driveway to the same resident. The vehicle left prior to police arrival and it possible that it was the same male from earlier.
11-11-21. Several vehicles were rummaged through on Lawson Ave. and Josephine St. A few items were reported stolen.

Tips/advice:
If you are expecting packages to be delivered to your home while you are not home check into receiving notifications when they are delivered and/or alternative delivery methods to prevent porch pirates from stealing your goods. Please complete a “vacation watch” form if you are going to be away from your residence for a while over the holidays. Be cautious of fires around Christmas trees and using too many extension cords or plugging too many electronics into one outlet.
