CRIME WATCH ALERT: OCTOBER 05, 2021

The Crafton Police Department responded to Belvidere St. early this morning for a report of 4 juveniles trying car door handles. Officers arrived in the area and checked the area for the juveniles with negative results. Officers spoke to the 911 caller and then checked other vehicles. At least four vehicles were entered and nothing of value was reported to have been stolen however the vehicles were ransacked. The original 911 caller believes that their vehicle was locked but was not certain. A second incident was reported later this morning to have occurred at approximately 3:30 AM on Thomas St. at a mechanic shop. Three unknown race suspects enter the property and ransacked 4 unlocked vehicles. It is unknown at this time if anything was stolen. If anyone in these areas has any type of surveillance system please review your videos in the time period of 3AM-5AM and report anything to the Crafton PD.
