Crime Watch Report - September 2020

Area 1- Coordinator- Katie Fazio
9-16-20. An unlocked vehicle was entered and electronics were stolen from a resident in the 0-11 block of Promenade St.

Area 2 – Coordinator-Sandy Gibson
9-08-20. 11 vehicles were entered and ransacked overnight on Lincoln Ave., Oregon Ave., Division St., Cross St. and Mildred Ave. Tools and money were stolen from some of these vehicles. All vehicles were left unlocked.

Area 3– Coordinator- Diane McQuaide
9-18-20. A political sign was stolen from a lawn on Dinsmore Ave.
9-19-20. 4 sets of tires, wheels and lug nuts were stolen from a vehicle parked on a rear parking pad on Haldane St.

Area 4- Coordinator- Amy Buchman (acting)
9-11-20. A N. Emily St. resident reported that he believes someone entered his residence through an unlocked door and stole one of his cats. Officers spoke with neighbors who did not report seeing anyone suspicious in the area.

Area 5- Coordinator- Mary Fleming

Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.
9-06-20. A vehicle on Thomas St. was keyed.
9-08-20. A vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle in the shopping center.
9-15-20. A package containing a cell phone was delivered and left in a common area of the Crafton Towers over the weekend. At some point the cell phone was stolen before the resident was able to take delivery of it.
9-16-20. A parked vehicle on Norma St. was struck by an unknown vehicle causing damage to it.
9-25-20. A Belvidere St. resident received a scam call from someone pretending to be from Amazon requesting personal information.
