CRIME WATCH REPORT FOR JANUARY 2024:

Area 1- Coordinator- (Vacant)

1-07-24. Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on E. Crafton Ave. Area 3- Coordinator- Diane McOuaide

Area 3- Coordinator- Diane McOuaide

Area 4- Coordinator- Amy Buchman (acting)

1-04-24. A male wearing neon gloves, dark green sweatshirt, light blue shoes, dark pants and a white hood attempted to break into the games of skill at the laundromat on Crennell Ave.

1-25-24. A business on Crennell Ave. noticed pry marks around their entry door. No access was gained to the business.

Area 5- Coordinator- Mary Fleming

1-03-24. Packages were stolen from a front porch on Willard Ave. by a white male approximately 30 years old wearing a white hoodie.

Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.

1-03-24. A wallet was stolen was from an unlocked locker at Planet Fitness.

1-28-24. A wallet left unattended at the laundromat in the shopping center was stolen by a young, tall, thin black male.

Tips/Advice:

Please remember to report any suspicious activity, people or vehicles immediately by calling 911. Also do NOT provide any information to people over the phone that call you. This is a good reminder for those residents that have elderly family members and friends as they are far too often the targets and victims of these types of schemes. The same advice goes for emails and text-based communications. Do NOT provide any information to anyone that you are not 100% of who they are. If in doubt, end the conversation and contact the Crafton Police Department. An officer will assist you in looking into the matter and provide you with guidance.
