Crime Watch Alert: November 19, 2020
***PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT***
The Crafton Police Department would like to remind residents and their guests to lock their vehicles at ALL times. If you need to warm your vehicle up in the morning, please either stay in the vehicle or use a remote start. Do NOT start the vehicle and go back into your house with the keys left in the ignition. Surrounding neighborhoods have been hit with thefts from vehicles over the past two nights and mornings. Two vehicles have been reported stolen also. Although all of the circumstances are unknown in these cases, this is a reminder to be vigilant. Crafton has been hit a couple times recently with thieves targeting unlocked vehicles overnight, especially in the 3-6AM hours along with these neighboring jurisdictions. Please report anyone or anything suspicious when you observe it by dialing 911 immediately. Watch out for yourself and your neighbors. Make this a safe and happy holiday season. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
