Tips/advice:
Please take your time driving around town as there are more children out playing due to the nice spring weather. Please report anyone suspicious to the police department immediately by dialing 911. The Crafton Police Department cannot stress this enough, LOCK YOUR PROPERTY (VEHICLES AND HOME) EVERYTIME YOU LEAVE THEM UNATTENDED!!!! Don't be a soft and easy target.
Prom season is upon us and that means there may be the temptation for partying. Please speak to your children about the dangers of alcohol and drug use, especially driving impaired. Marijuana is still ILLEGAL in PA!!
Enjoy the spring weather! Don't forget that there is a drug/prescription pill take back box located at the Borough building outside of the police department door.
*****Sunday May 5, 2019 at 1PM there is a memorial/dedication service for fallen Crafton Officer Henry Louis Hufnagel who was killed in the line of duty 100 years ago. After the ceremony and unveiling of the memorial in front of the borough building, light refreshments will be served at the Community Center. Please come and join us and help remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their community as Police Memorial Week is approaching next week.******
