CRIME WATCH REPORT - DECEMBER 2018
Area 1- Coordinator- Katie Fazio
12-08-18. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked on Fountain St.
12-14-18. A suspicious person appeared to be looking for packages to steal off of a porch on Woodlawn Ave.
12-16-18. A tool bag containing tools was stolen out of a vehicle parked on Fountain St. A window was broken out to steal the tools.
Area 2 – Coordinator-Sandy Gibson
12-04-18. A resident in the 100 block of E. Crafton Ave. reported that a person followed her home and then attempted to get into her residence. The suspect was believed to be a male wearing a black hoodie with a slender build.
12-03-18. A Union Ave. resident reported that a male wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans was looking into her house.
Area 3– Coordinator- Diane McQuaide
12-20-18. A parked vehicle on Dinsmore Ave. was struck by an unknown person in another vehicle.
Area 4- Coordinator- Amy Buchman (acting)
12-09-18. Two parked vehicles were struck sometime two nights ago by an unknown vehicle.
Area 5- Coordinator- Mary Fleming
12-04-18. Overnight a 24-foot ladder was stolen from a truck parked in the rear of a residence on Mueller Ave.
Area 6- Coordinator- Bill & Janet Finlay Jr.
Tips/advice:
The Crafton Crime Prevention Unit along with the entire Police Department would like to wish everyone a happy and safe 2019. We hope that this year is better for everyone and request the residents and people visiting our community to continue to be observant and report incidents to the police department. It is our hope that with a strong working relationship between the police department and those that we serve and protect that we together can prevent and/or solve more crimes. Thank you for your assistance during 2018 and we look forward to serving the community in 2019!!!
